The various women in the Lovett and Manning families have been knitting, crotcheting, and generally putting me to shame with their handiworks - at times this has made me feel like I'm not doing enough to prepare for the birth of our baby girl. But yesterday I made up for all of that, thanks in part to some moral support from Angela, but most of all to Gavin's sharp elbow. If his elbow hadn't ruined one of his favourite shirts, this little dress would still be part of his uniform. I think the shirt is cuter this way - let's hope it fits the baby one day.

A baby girl...haven't had a chance to tell you in person how happy I am to hear about the baby. Hopefully I will sometime soon.

Hey, I remember that shirt!!!! Well done, Jessica. Blog and dress are awesome. This means that I have one more blog to visit while sitting in my cubicle. Yeah!
Anthony: Let us know if you are planning to be in town with enough room for a visit - it would be nice to see you!
Caroline: if any of the posts entertain you, it will only repay a small portion of the entertainment I've gleaned from your blog.
Holy cow, this is my very first visit to a blog. Jess, it is pretty cool. The dress is adorable.
Since I don't have a Google Acct. or a blogger ID I am doing this anonymously but not really. Mn Mom
Maybe you should start a MN blog - go for it!
Hi Jessica and Gavin,
Great job on the dress. I would say that I'm surprised, but I'm not. You always do well when you put your mind to it, Jessica. Anyways, I can't wait to get together once the babies come. Hope you guys are doing well.

Nice blog. It's nice to see Mom and Dad scrathing the surface of the internet revolution.
